A True Story

  • Mood:

I had a dream a few years ago and you might be surprised by reading this story. I dreamed I was standing upon a mountain top, when suddenly I fell off the mountain. I continued to fall and it seemed like forever until I finally hit the bottom. Surprisingly I was not even hurt, not in the least. As I was about to stand up, lo and behold there were three fire-balls hovering over me. Bending down to the ground, I covered my head and waited for these fire-balls to hit me. I waited and waited for something to happen but it did not.

I slowly got up and there was only one fireball left but once I had stood up, the fireball moved and then slammed into me with great force. The next thing I realized was that I was in some small town where I was running through the streets screaming that I was filled with the Holy Spirit. Just as suddenly as this happened, I woke up and found that I was still in my own bed. I didn’t understand this dream at all at the time but later on I realized that God must have given me some kind of message. Today I think that I might be on the right track or at least on my way. The Lord has blessed me with writing his stories and I believe that the Holy Spirit is guiding me through my writing.

If there is someone out there that may know what this dream was all about then please let me know. I believe it was a blessing and also a message to allow God’s Holy Spirit to come into my life.

3 Reflections.

Hi Milton, this is very much how the Holy Spirit comes upon us. Remember Acts 2:3 "And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them." Hallelujah! for the Holy Spirit ...

Dear Milton,
I believe this to be the meaning of your dream. It is a simple one and I pray God will give me a simple interpretation. The mountain is significant. The Lord calls his children to come to a mountain top when he wants to meet with them and discuss things. This image is common in the Bible.

The fact that you jumped or fell from the mountain I believe has to do with "free falling" into space. I have had a similiar dream when I opened the web gallery. I think this is about unchartered space, specific to the internet. Falling into it without getting hurt means that you have entered into this space of your own free will without anyone forcing you to do it.

You may not believe this one but, the fire balls are angels. These could be interpreted inside of a dream as messages or messangers. I don't know which it is.

You cover your head because you are uncertain about "how" that message will affect your head, your common sence, better judgement.

The town is a return to reality. It was created by your brain to try to ground you back into a dream sequence again. That happens whenever your head gets messed with by something or someone your brain is unfamiliar with. This is also further demonstrated by the rode your walking on and the justification of evangelism that your making to people around you in the town. I am very certain of this dream.
